old 460 engine
 

In process of restoring a 1976 Ford F250 which has been sitting for over 20 years.(my dad's old truck). Have pulled out motor and transmission and thought I had the engine unseized but will only turn over about 1/2 a revolution and then seems to hit a hard spot.... any suggestions?

Yes, take it apart and find out why; whatever the problem is, it's going to require repair; could be anything from rusty to broken (I'm not trying to sound like a smart alec, but it's also true!)
