Cool Power windows switches not illuminated

Hi.This is my first posting so guys be easy on me.
ok.So I have a ford taurus SEL 2007 and last night I was sitting in the passenger seat and I realized that the power window switch on the passenger door was not illuminated(on the driver's door they have green leds inside.)So I checked the rear doors and the same thing no green light. The only switches working are on the driver's door (power window and door look) and on the passenger door only the power door look.I don't know if it is wired this way or something happened to the switches. If somebody can check on their car to see if theirs switches are working on the passenger side and rear doors I would appreciate.Sorry for my english,it is not my first language. Thanks again.

Well, I graded papers in college that were written far worse then this epistle, so don't feel bad at all about it.
I took a look, and all these switches have LED's in them for illumination (that much I knew), however, check the window lock. It controls the illumination for the other switches (all of them). The wire is a Red with Ligh Blue tracer, and it should have power when the window lock is off. If not, then start by tracing the wiring and take a look around for broken wires.

Greasemark thank you for your fast replay. You were right, the window lock was in on position so when I turned it off the lights in the switches came on.For me this is a bit strange why the factory did this way.My wife has a Nissan and the lights are on all the time ,regardless in which position is the window lock switch.Anyway I am glad that my car is ok and thanks again for your help.

Never, but NEVER question why engineers design the things the way they do. You'll loose every time. Glad to help!
