Skyliner Fan Wants New Skyliner on The Market!!!!!!!!!
[8D]
Well I guess this is to let y'all know a bit about myself. To keep it short I'll just tell you about some of my Ford obsession. With the exception of a late 60's Jeep pick up, a 65 Buick Riviera, and a 62 IH Scout 80I grew up with Fords. Let my see if I can remember all or close to all the ones my folks owned. 65 Fairlane, 56 Vicky, 57 Skyliner, 66 Mustang, 84 F-250, 89 Bronco. Mostly I grew up in theback seats of the Skyliner and Mustang, which are still in the family. I love Fords so much I named my son Ford. I currently own an 06 F-150 and an 05 Focus. I've alsoowned and 02 ZX2, a 92 Escort and a 69 Galaxie 500.Although in High School I drove an 67 IH Scout 800 which my folks still have.
Now with all of these auto makers producing "hardtop" convertables I say it's about time Ford produce the Skyliner again. It was the world'sfirst powered hardtop retractable.Ford does make a Hardtop convertable inthe UK. It's called the Focus Coupe-Convertable. They could make it U.S. complient, do some minor cosmetic changes and call it a Skyliner.
If anyone feels the same we should petition Ford to do so. I know they're not doing so well right now, but it won't hurt to try right?
