Sync
 

Hey all, my 2012 apparently needs new software as I am unable to add my new Iphone into the system. Have been in contact with Ford but I don't think they are very helpful. Anyone else incur a similar issue? Also the radio ever so often has a very loud sounding squawk electric noise like you get out of speakers.

Update: Last Sunday I got the same loud static blast. Seriously sounded like someone shot a pistol inside the truck. Since then I have no radio but the clock seems to be working although it blinks on and off. As to the software I finally was able to download the new software on to a thumb drive but it won’t upload to Sync.
Sure would appreciate any advice.
