Toyota build it?

What year was the first Ranger produced by Toyota on the markett.?

The Ranger was designed in conjunction with the Aerostar in the early 80's. The current Ranger is still on just a more refined version of that original platform. Toyota has not had anything to do with the Ranger.

Whether there may be some conjunction in the future with Toyota to build the Ranger replacement (off the Tacoma platform no doubt) would be a matter of conjecture. I haven't heard any such news. Has anyone else?

Mazda and the Ranger are the same platform. Perhaps you meant Mazda?
