What is the wire connector for on the back of the 2013 F250 SUPER DUTY for?

I have a little cubby on the lower dash, next to the cup holder down by my right knee on my 2013 F250 Super Duty XL. It has a wiring harness plugged in to a blank plug molded into the back of the cubby. What is this for? The cubby itself is quite useless, as change falls out, cell phone falls out etc. The wiring harness just sort of dead ends into the back of this cubby, is there an option that you can put in place of the cubby that requires power? Thanks!!

The truck already has four auxiliary switches that are wired for power two 20 amp and two 30 amp, they are not currently connected to anything, but may be in the future. Little cubby just seems so ridiculous. Nothing will fit in it. Nothing will stay in it. Surely there was an option that you pop that out and pop back in and plug wires to right? My trim package is just an XL. Imagine this is something to do with platinum or king ranch.

Thanks!!

These are the things it is not, upfitter switches, trailer brakes, or power outlets...

I read the owner's manual front to back, no mention of what it could be for...

The illustrations show a potential for the PAD switch (250-550) to be mounted where your 12v outlet is. I'd think the connector on the back of the cubby would be for the deactivation switch ops.. If you can take an image of the connector and wire color/tracers, would help to confirm ..
