Fellow Ford Truck Gearheads: I’m looking to install a modern EFI fuel delivery system for my 1983 Ford F-100 (last of the F-100s), stock 300 ci inline 6, to get rid of the stock 1 bbl Carter carb setup that the original factory guys, after returning from lunch and burning a fatty, mounted directly over the exhaust manifold––a brilliant engineering design that fries the carb components to death annually. That year, Ford “had a better idea”, but forgot what the hell it was. Anyway, any help locating a good aftermarket EFI system for the venerable 300 inline 6 would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
