My friend has a 92 Volvo he was driveing down the road and the transmission started slipping, then he had a hard time getting it going again. Transmission not engaging. Should I flush the transmission with some detergent and then change fluid and filter? Someone told me that the bands maybe slipping. What does a band look like and how do you adjust it?
