Best Practices for Installing PTFE Fuel Lines?

I’m planning to upgrade the fuel system on my car and came across PTFE fuel line as an option. I’ve read that it offers excellent chemical resistance and high-temperature durability, but I’m unsure about the proper installation techniques. How do you prevent leaks and ensure long-term reliability when using PTFE fuel line? Are there specific fittings or clamps that work best? Also, does it require any special maintenance compared to traditional rubber fuel lines? Any tips, warnings, or personal experiences would be greatly appreciated. |

Today's fuel systems can utilize pressures exceeding 60 psi and rubber hoses no longer can be used.
The connections require special release tools .They are not expensive , but you cannot do fuel system work without them. We should be able to suggest what few tools you might require. There are special fittings that you can purchase to use that product./ |
