Desaster for Diesel trucks

Hi All
This is off topic, but does involve many of you. I have tried to contact Ford more directly, but
the merry go round is pretty good

I live in Cal... yes the (New ASS hole of the world)
New laws governing Diesel engines are taking effect now... My friend works on a small fleet of Mid size
F450 - F750. older diesel and they are required to have later model engines (post 2010) This year...
and all pre 2010 engines must be (post 2010) by 2023...
My friend came to me, to see if I can find more info, (Im better on the computer then he is)
but I've run up against a wall with regards to buying just and engine an associated parts
The owner of this small construction company can not afford new $40K trucks.

He and I have talked about converting to NCG, $$, new trucks $$$$$, Newer engines $$$$
I can not find a site from Ford that sells new manufactured Diesel engines. if they do
I sure would think that Ford should jump into this market get info on the net
I'm posting here, hoping that some Ford guys would read it...
Taking one truck as an example, a 1992 low milage. F750 with Navistar V8 Diesel
and an Allison transmission.... Needs to go or change the engine to a post 2010...
He does not like the Navistar engines...OK, what do I know.
So if any Ford company guys read this, or if anyone on here has direct contact with Ford
Lets get more info out there about newer engines
And if anyone does know more about this then I do, let me know, What he is not liking is all the computer
stuff needed now on "cars\trucks"
Best
and thanks for any assistance
