Ecoboost in a Torno?

Been doing some research and haven't found jack about this. Was thinking about buying a 60 some to early 70's torino wagon. The idea is to put an Ecoboost engine in it, make it as modern of a vehicle as possible for mpg and have a cool looking family ride. So the question is, is this even a possible idea? Or what would be a better idea to get decent mpg's out of an old torino wagon? Any ideas would be helpfull.

Anything can be done with enough $$$ and patients. If you use an Ecoboost engine, you would also need the wiring harness and all of the engine management systems for the engine from the donor vehicle. Then depending on where you live, you may be required to pass emissions testing for the year that the engine is. Being a Torino wagon, I would look for a Ford Flex with a busted back side.
