Default Ford engine question

In a modern engine what would make oil run all the way up a dipstick when the engine is running?

Oil will migrate up the dipstick some. If the oil is at the top of the dipstick, that isn't right. Excessive crankcase pressure could be building up from a PCV valve, its vacuum, engine breather filter being blocked or excessive blowby of combustion gases from poor sealing compression piston rings.
