Non Ford cars with for engines
 

we all know about cars like the sheby A/C Cobra's, saleen S7, and De Thomaso Pantera; but has anyone ever heard of this:

a few years ago a read about a car that was made in either the 70's or 80's that was some sort of design project to make a safe car. Basically it was a supercar with a ford V-8 with air bags, and abs and FR configuration because they concluded that that was the safest layout and safest possible car they could make.

I can't rember what this car was called, or if it was even real, I think It was a Canadian company and it might have been a 385 in it, but i don't really remember. does anyone one know any information about this, I have been looking for it for a long time.
