Today while watching Barrett-Jackson, I had memory flashback to the early 70's. Ford produced a limited supply of smaller models....Maverick, Mustang and I think one other model. They were only sold in WHITE but at the rear fender was a USA red white and blue shield decal. Across the top of the shield was a stripe of blue with 3-5 white stars and beneath were red and white vertical stripes. I don't think I have seen one restored or even a photo of them since. If someone can recall such a car or even have a photo that would be satisfying to my memory!
