Transport Trucks

Ok, for all you guys and gals who drive transport truck like myself...which Make/Model do you like...I'll list the ones I can think of, namely the big names, and if there is one that isn't listed, just add it in the reply section...

Personally, I have to vote for the Peterbilts...no particular model, but the bigger the better...I've just always liked the lines and the big hoods on them...plus if you chrome 'em all up, they just shine in the sun [sm=bling.gif]

At work we drive International 9400 series w/ the cat engine or the detroit engine... nice trucks...but they still ain't Peterbilt...hehehe

I couldn't tell yah really. I have only worked on the trailers. Installed satellite systems on them before. Mostly WABASH trailers. The company I worked for is no longer around though.

But when we would get some trucker magazine, I was always fond of the Kenworth. So I vote for them

Fair enough...I've driven my share of Kenys, my favorite was an old '90...the thing rattled and the engine wasn't always reliable, but man that thing would just move...could shift through the gears like it was a corvette...

I have always loved the Ford Louisville 9000 series and the Sterling(which is really a Ford)They have a great cab and one of the stongest frames made. All trucks can be ordered with the same drive train componets.

I've only ever driven a few "big rigs", but of those, I'm partial to the Kenworth COE tractors...like a good-looking giant condo on wheels!
