Well, I am on a motor forum, reminiscing.

I am sure Hayapower likes this one. It was one of my favorite rides when I had a BMW R 26

Yeah,,

Could feel the wind in my face and caught myself leaning with my laptop.. LOL Serious!

Looks like a well traveled and nice bike'n road.. That was you?

I used to ride with a group of guys in SF Bay Area, Marin County, for about 30 years (jeezuze where'd the time go) but moved more north so I don't get the chance as often.

One of my faves is the Ghost Rider 499.. On one wheel at over 180!! Guy is insane..

No, that wasn't me. I don't even have a Super 8 movie of my rides. But Youtube and Go-Pro let me re-live the good old times. We must be of similar vintage. It's 1955 for me.
The BMW R26 was rated at 15 horsepower, just 484 short of the ghost rider's 'busa. But it did not matter in the corners! I was leaning as low as the guys taking the video.
I have sworn off the motorcycles. I don't want to become a stat. Besides the bugs are to big in Iowa.

And my friend had this German Triumph 250:
http://www.meisterdinger.de/triumph/bdg250b.jpgrated at 10.5 HP. It has a twin piston 2 cycle engine with oodles of torque (for it's size) and super low center of gravity. He wiped out on this road in one of the last right turning hairpins. He lives to tell about it too.
