1977 ford custom pickup transmission swap

The truck currently has an automatic in it, and I'm wanting to swap it to a manual. I'm just here looking for tips as I was unable to find a walkthrough for what I am looking for. I work on cars already, but I haven't done a transmission swap before.

Usually a swap goes the other way..

I swapped my 79 from manual to auto..

But to go to manual, you'll obviously need the trans, clutch components, cross member, bell housing as well as the correct driveshaft and length for your wheelbase. Along with the clutch/brake pedal assembled and linkage. Column swap optional. Rear gears come into play, but not an absolute in a swap. Best way, find a donor to pick everything you need at once.

Not a 4x4, correct?

Not a 4x4. Considered that swap but I don't have the means and my insurance would be hell due to age. Finding the parts shouldn't be too hard, as there is a junkyard not 10 miles from where I live.
