Default Ford 8" diff w/3.80 gears?

Hello everyone! So I was looking around online for a 3rd member for an 8" diff with a 3.80 gear set, to upgrade from the 3.0 gear that i have on my 1977 Granada, and everywhere I look wants an arm and a leg for it and I figured I'd run to a junk yard and find a ford that has those gears. Unfortunately I have had no luck on my searching for information on which vehicles potentially have those gears in them. If anyone knows anything about maybe which fords have those gears or if you know where I can buy a 3rd member for a somewhat reasonable price online, I'm all ears and very appreciative.

Why such a low ratio?
380 was end of the line for low ratio in 8" Don't know if something like the ol V8 Mustang II manual etc ever had that low of a ratio. Although not cheap, a gear set change maybe quicker and less search time consuming. Unless an overdrive type man/auto, 380 would be pretty low..

I realize that 3.8 may seem low but seeing as i have a stock 3.00 ratio, i still want to cruise with it on the highway and 4.10/4.11's are a little too big for what i want. I figured 3.8 would be a good middle ground unless there's a gear you'd recommend. I've been told if i get a 9" that 3.73's are the way to go.

This site may help you out with quite a bit of info along with a list of Ford vehicles using your axle...
