NMRA Returns to St. Louis!
 

The NMRA Ford Nationals, the #1 all-Ford Motorsport show, is proud to announce its return to Gateway Motorsports Park May 16-19, 2019.

The facility, which is located just outside of St. Louis in Madison, IL, has a steep history in Ford high-performance as a previous host track for the NMRA series in 2000 and the longtime home of the World Ford Challenge. NMRA racers and fans will rumble into the facility for the third stop of the series’ 2019 championship tour.

“I’ve been friends with Chris Blair and the staff at Gateway Motorsports Park for a long time and putting together a great program for our NMRA series was a goal that has now been accomplished,” said Rollie Miller, general manager of the NMRA Ford Nationals. Miller proclaimed the event title as the Gateway Rumble, a throwback to an event in the early years of the Mustang drag racing movement that helped define the segment.

Gateway Motorsports Park executive vice president and general manager, Chris Blair, enthusiastically commented, “Our entire team at Gateway Motorsports Park is excited to host the NMRA as part of our 2019 schedule.” The NMRA Gateway Rumble, May 16-19, 2019, slides into a line-up of events at the facility that makes it one of the most active and premier drag racing strips in the region.

Blair continued, “The NMRA showcases the best Ford racing in the U.S. The on-track product is excellent and die-hard automotive enthusiasts will enjoy their tremendous midway and product displays.” NMRA’s Miller had similar comments regarding the Gateway Motorsports Park facility, “We offer a premier drag racing experience that attracts both the new racer as well as world-class competitors. Partnering with Gateway Motorsports Park allows us to offer a high quality event in a fast and fun atmosphere.”
