My thought would be normally when you open the door and your keys are still in the ignition, a sensor makes it chime to tell you that you've left you're keys...I would start in that system to see...

I agree, i'm not sure that I like the idea of having to replace the sending unit every time I want to change the fuel filter...just another way for Ford to make some $$...oh well...and 2 lower ball...

yeah, they'll use an ob2 or something to that nature, your mechanic should have one as well, but autozone usually does it for free if i'm not much mistaken...anyways, those codes will tell you what...

I don't think that the "chip" would be the problem, but thats the problem that you run into w/ aftermarket products...sometimes they don't react well with the rest of the vehicle...I don't think that...
