Radio - crackles and then no noise - repetitive
 

Hello!
I have a 2018 Ford Escape SE - AWD. Over the last month the speakers have been acting up - first it will crackle across the whole car, sound still works, then huge crackle, sound goes away but comes back and then today, the crackle was loud and progressively louder, turned car off and back on - absolutely no sound. Everything I have read tells me the Audio Control Module is acting up and needs replaced? Thoughts please!!
