4 speed converted to a newer 5 speed

4 speed converted to a newer 5 speed
I'm driving a 1977 ford f250 Highboy. It has the a four speed manual transmition. Which many of you know is geared very low, so it like having a three speed transmition. I'd like to put in a newer five speed that is geared more speed. I would appreciate any good relative advice or expirences with this. Thanx in advance. J
