E40d drive problems
 

My 1995 f150 5.8 4x4 is having shift issues the drive doesn’t work but 1st 2nd and reverse do fluid was low refilled it still didn’t work when it was low I smelled it and it didn’t smell burnt doesn’t shift hard or gears don’t grind what happened before I got it was the previous owner towed a trailer to heavy and after that wouldn’t go into drive fluid was low when they did it to o/d light isn’t flashing isn’t original transmission previous owner changed it not sure what miles it has linkage feels a little bit loose compared to a 2015 gmc but completely different manufacturer and year could it be something like the solenoid pack or the valve body also fluid isn’t leaking
