Eco E150 1992 302 V8 AOD
 

Hi there!

I have a problem with the ford as specified in the title.
As far as I could find out it has an AOD transmission and the lock-up for the overdrive is failing. Where i live, in the Netherlands, the only solution of the few experts shops we have here is to rebuilt the complete transmission.
This costs aproximately $ 1900 - 2300 without 19% tax!
Does anybody have a solution for this problem without having to rebuilt the complete transmission? Or does anybody know a shop where i can buy the needed parts or new/rebuilt transmission wich can be send to the Netherlands (Holland).

The transmission runs fine at this time, only when the overdrive wants to kick in the engine runs free. I can put the transmission in the other "D" mode and drive without problems only higher RPM. Transmission oils is clean.
