still looking for tranny VIN # 1ftrx18lxxnc01537 can anyone figure out what trans this truck has. No door sticker. Tag on tranny has some of the numbers rubbed off thanks

well it's not the tranny I need I finally took note that it's not electronic shift on fly. Thanks for the reply Shasta man

and much to my horror there is another trans with same # bolts and pan shape. Thinking best solution good insurance and matches

ESOF is electronic/vacuum operated 4x4..
Are you having trans issues, or 4x4 lock up/engagement problems?
You mentioned cooking the trans, no movement etc...

trans got very hot due to blockage changed fluid filter wasn't aware of blockage yet drive about thirty miles parked and that's when it wouldn't move. Got towed for about one mile coasting downhill put it in gear drive for few miles then nothing again and that's where it's at. Haven't been home for three weeks looking for tranny replacement so who knows maybe it healed during my absence halilujah.
