03 windstar stalling problem

My Windstar won't stay running and I'm looking for some help. Below is what I know and what I have replaced.
When I drive it the engine will stutter and then die. If I switch to neutral and try to start it I wont get anything but the engine turning over and over.
If I put it in neutral and turn the key back to accessory and then start it the engine will start right up and I keep going down the road.
The road can be smooth or bumpy. Cold or hot outside temperatures and still have the problem.
The van will idle for hours in the driveway and never have an issue.
I found out that if I disconnect the 3 wire connector on the alternator it runs perfect.
I have replaced the alternator twice, first with a reman and the 2nd with one from the Ford dealership brand new.
Along with the alternator I have replaced the battery, Crank sensor, Cam sensor, power control relay, power control diode, and ignition switch.

What I cant figure out is why it runs great when I disconnect the 3 wire connector on the alternator.
Any other ideas or suggestion would be great as I'm getting a little tire of working on this van and coming up empty.
