2000 Windstar LX Problems
Hey all,
I think it's cool that there's a forum here for ford owners and aficionados to help the technilogically challenged as myself.
I have a couple of questions for you fine folks.
Here's the first: My 2000 Windstar LX (139,000km's - 86,370 miles) makes a metallic squeeling noise whenever I turn the steering wheel left or right. It always happens when the vehicle moves from a parked state and while under slow speed, I don't notice it whenever the vehicle is run at high speed. I've checked the power steering fluid and it's fine, not low or too full. Is there something I'm missing?
The second question: The Emission control light is constantly on, does this mean I need to change the fuel, air or oil filter? Is it the catalytic converter?
Thank you for your time and help!
