Tail pipe became misaligned. Took to Ford dealer and was quoted $900 to replace exhaust pipe bushings. Dealer can’t procure bushings. Cost seems extraordinarily high! Anyone have information about funding and replacing bushings

 

They’re universal. You can get’em at any Autozone’s parts counter. $900.00..shucks you can do’em yourself if you can get under the thing. Buy a set of ramps and a set of heavy duty jackstands. Drive up the ramps and jack up the rear and support with the jackstands. That should allow you plenty of room to get under there. Safety goggles and a hat to protect from rust and debris. Get a good pair of long handled tin snips and cut the first bushing off. Grab a bottle of dish liquid and use it to lube the new bushing. Slide into place and move on to the next until you’ve replaced as many as is needed. Then use the $800.00 and drive to Disneyland
