Both fans stuck, A/C compressor not working
Hello everyone,
I was doing some maintenance to my 98 Ford Windstar 3.0L model. I was cleaning the air filter, IAC valve that kind of parts related since the car has been running on high RPMs on idle after driving it for a while. The thing is that when I assembled everything up again, both fans started to act up and working nonstop when I start the car (like being stuck). And also, the other symptom is that the A/C compressor stopped working when turning it on.
Has anyone experienced something like this before? I spent a complete afternoon trying to figure out what could be wrong, but I got nothing.
Thanks in advance.

A faulty (stuck) relay can cause your fan issue. I would run a code scan because even a faulty coolant temperature sensor/wiring can cause the fans to run all the time. Relay, low refridgerant charge, an open fuse can all cause power interuption to the field coil on the a/c clutch. Maybe you accidentally distrurbed some wiring causing all your issues.
