Disable Door Ajar light on turn signal?
 

I have searched the manual...and can find no way to disable the dual sliding door ajar light that appears on the turn signals. Part of why I bought this Windstar was the dual sliding doors so I could keep my dogs cool while at events. Howver, it does me no good if leaving the doors open kills my battery.
Any ideas? It appears as though there's contact points for both dual doors.
I still want the turn signals on the side mirrors to work, just want to disable the door ajar part.

youll need a couple relays for this one. youll have to locate the wires goin into the front module that control the door ajar flashing. youll have to set they relays up to interrupt the door switches while the cars ignition is in the off position(swithced twelve, not the acc. 12) and disables itself when energized with the swithced 12v. the setup is to "trick" the car into thinking the doors are always shut when you have the key out of the ignition, regardless of wether or not theyre open, BUT when the ignition switched is energized, the bypass is disabled. now how to wire this, i ll have to get back to you on that. im pretty sure its possible though
