Default Keyless entry code

I have a 1995 Windstar with keyless entry. How I can find out the code? I looked the places recommended in the Manual (glove box, engine control module) but found nothing.
Is it possible to recover the code based on the known vehicle number?

I have a 2001 with the same problem. Dealer wants $75.00 to hook it up to a scanner. I understand the cost associated with such equipment and the need to pass this cost on to the consumer, but there has to be a cheaper/easier way since these vehicles do change hands every now and then. I am not sure of the location of the computer module, I have found several of them. It's supposed to be taped to it, but I don't know where it is. I have looked behind the lower storage bin below the instrument panel, but no luck. Anyone else??

Guys 50-75 dollars is cheap, the machine is like 1300, and you cant do it, it takes the guys at the shop 30 min, 75 minus 25 for labor and then minus the cost of having the service bay and they still have 5000 a month to go for rent... locksmiths charge 100 just to scan the sys, most shops charge 50, and the dealer charges 75 ... choose the better evil.

Yes unfortunately if the code is lost and noone knows, the only was is to have the dealership get it. Keep in mind, that not only can they get it for you they can change it to whatever you want it to be.

My 95 Windstar had a sticker in the glove box with the factory 5 digit code. This is the code you need to reset personal code........
