Default Engine Hitch

2004 Escape V6 3.0
My engine started "hitching" and the engine light came on. I went to the dealership and they said that coil 3 & 4 needed to be changed as well as all the plugs and the intake manifold gasket. I replaced all 6 plugs, all 6 coils and the gasket. The engine still hitches. I ran sea foam thru the gas then changed the fuel filter and air filter. The engine still hitches and the engine light is on again.

Additional info: The catalytic converter and exhaust was replaced two months ago. The car gets regular oil changes.

Someone please help?!?!

I don't know if this is any help, but there are upper and lower intake manifold gaskets. Which one did you change?
See if you can have the computer checked for codes. They hopefully will provide some direction.
There are times when the computer has to be notified a repair has been made and it can stop trying to correct for an earlier problem.
It is called a forced reset and it involves removing the negative battery cable from the battery and holding that end on to the positive cable for 5 minutes or so. Then reconnect it and allow the engine to idle for a few minutes. See if it corrected anything.
