Default Ball Joint - Camber Adj question

I just installed new upper & lower ball joints in my 1993 F-150 (5.0l, 4x4, manual locking hubs). I tightened the nut as tight as it could get and everything seemed fine. Except when I looked closer at itIsaw the camber adjustment washer had risen about 1/8 of and inch above the axleyoke where itsits.... How is this possible? If the nut is tight how can the adjustment washer sit higher then the axle? Should I be concerned?Any ideas are appreciated orif I need to explain this better please let me know - Thanks - Logan

The adjustment sleeve does not have to be flush with the axle. As long as everything is torqued correctly it will not move

So its ok if it rides up a little higher? It is torqued solid, I was just worried that it would shift so I havent driven it yet. Just the post-repair jitters I guess, Thanks for the info.
