it may be a fluke but my map sensor went out and my truck runs better with more power and better mpg's. it may not work for you but its worth a try.other than the service light being on im having no problems.

I don't know the answer to your good luck, but how did you determine the MAP sensor was defective?

I broke the nipple off so I unplugged it
