Help Rims and Tire Questions
I have a 65 Ford F250. I want to change out the tires and rims on it. Right now it has the painted steel rims on them. The tires are 30x9.50R16.5LT. The conversion table says I should get a 255/70R16.
Is there a difference in the 8 lugs? My buddy from O'reilly says they are all the same, but I am thinking otherwise. Cause I see some good deals on Craigs, and they are on 16 rims, but from different chevy, or new fords.
Does it matter or are all 8 lugs the same? Thanks for looking.

Welcome to the site..
In the past you could interchange 8 lug wheels with different truck manufactures Today and late model trucks, not so much. With the conversion info. and tires it suggested ,they wouldn't fit your steel wheels.
The later model Ford trucks don't use beveled style lug nuts like in the past. The new rims center off the the hub, and the nuts are a clamping flat face lug against the wheel face..
