it took about 3 hrs of turning the rear caliper piston clockwise to finally get it to retract on my 04 freestar se.dont turn them counterclockwise ,as this closes the gap. any ideas on why there was no response for 2 and 3\4 hrs? i applied pressure with a clamp,but after it started to retract no pressure was needed

 

usually if a brake caliper sticks it's because someone didn't do it right the first time around when replacing the pads or they didn't open the bleeder valve while compressing the piston back into the bore and didn't get it straight
