Cust. just brought in pr of 302/GT40 {Yes there is the GT40 Raised emblem} Vlv. Cover area !
Need to know if there is anything Special we need to look @, while inspecting these heads & maybe Something Special we need to do[while Rebuilding these Heads] that will allow them{engine} to run Better than when the "GT40" Engine came from the factory ? ? ? ? Any H E L P will be gratefully accepted & appreciated !

Like any head, polish the ports.
Those are actually a nice, inexpensive upgrade for a 302. They used to come on Explorers that had the 302 in them. It basically upgrades the heads for a GT to be similar to a Cobra.
Also, if you can get GT40 the upper and lower intake from the Explorer you will be getting basically what came in the Cobra, too. Another "cheap" upgrade.
