Out turn signal/high beam/wiper lever arm is defective. The wipers will work but only on high speeds, not intermittent. My husband thinks it is the actual
switch inside the arm as the wipers do work. We have taken it to garage and they think that is the problem. We have not been able to find the part number to order a new one. And when we get one how do we replace it?

The part you're referenceing is the multifunction switch, Ford part number 5F2Z13K359AAA.
To get to the switch, first remove the three-four screws holding the covers together from the bottom. Then you should be able to remove the bottom column cover. The lock cylinder is in the way for the top cover, so you need to remove that also. Look under the column for the access hole to release the lock. In the "On" position you can then press the release pin with a 1/8" drill (or similar tool) and simply slide out the lock. Then the upper cover will come off and you can proceed to the switch. The switch is held in place by a sindle screw.
