I am looking at getting a body kit on my 2001 zx2 and im wanting some second opinions. What are the cons of the body kit (Besides money)
and what body kit will suit my car best when it comes to quality and appearance? I really just want to make my car look newer, nicer, and more sporty looking.

 

A major risk point is the fact that the parts might not work for your car. If parts are ordered online, there is no guarantee that they will fit. Also, safety can be an issue as well. Usually, body kits lower ground clearance. That can be a problem with with uneven roads, bottoming out could be an issue. Also, most modifications are made of fiberglass or polyurethane. In wrecks, those materials have a tendency to splinter and break instead of stay together and adsorb most of the impact. Those are a few points to consider before you make modifications.
