Throttle
2013 Fiesta Hatch 5 Speed manual.1.6 DOHC. Bought brand new.
Warning light comes on. Throttle response becomes poor. Throttle closes completely when I take foot off of pedal. Happens after rapid change of weather, or have been using cruise control. I can turn off the ignition, Hold brake and throttle down, turn on ignition sswitch, wait 20 seconds and the problem goes away. Might happen 3 or 4 times in succession and then not for another 6 months.
I have read this happens because of corrosion inside the throttle body control. Don't think so because canceling the error message is not going to make corrosion go away. I am thinking it is something to do with the engine management module. I have inspected the wiring connection at the throttle body control and there is no problem there.
Can I open up the throttle body control for inspection and be able to close it?
Where is the engine management module and how do I get to it?

From what you describe , it sounds like your vehicle is going into "Limp Mode"
The system does this to prevent further damage to the vehicle components, prevent gross emissions, and yet still allow the vehicle to be driven to a service facility for diagnosis and repair.
What is happening is the system is allowing a "reset" when you turn off the ignition. Problems like this don't usually get better, just worse.
The problem is to find the cause and that will usually require,,,,,,,special information, special tools, and knowledge of how the system is supposed to work.

Because we do not know the level of your dexterity or expertise ,it would not be wise for me to suggest anything that could get you into a situation you are not equipped to handle. Just judging by the questions you ask , your knowledge is limited and in consideration of your circumstances, would not suggest you get more involved with the electronic throttle body assy than normal removal and replacement. Hope you understand, thanks.
You are being evasive, and not at all helpful.
