Is the waterpump hard to change on a 1990 festiva ,also when i change that is there any thing else i should change ???

A water pump gone bad could indicate water levels weren't up and the bearings ran dry. Keep an eye from time to time on the level of antifreeze. If it gets low check radiator cap, hoses (for leaks) and maybe use system flush to clean it all out before you begin (or even after) dis-assembling.
