Any Radio Nuts out there?
Ok so i just scored this 1997 Expo xlt from my neighbor.
He was 80 when he sold it to me and it looks brand new.
Runs great but what is up with no CD or Ipod Hookup.
I guess its just a different Generation.
But Ford didn't install a CD player in 1997 i think that is why this is my first Ford!
Just wondering if anyone has any ideas
I know there is a CD changer i can install for like 100 bucks.
Or i can install an aftermarket Cd player with an ipod hookup.
What i was hoping somebody might have a little experience with the line in's on the back of the original stereo before i go ripping it out.
If it is like a line in i should be able to just hook up a cable.
If it is a red and white audio line i should just be able to buy a cable also.
Thanks if anyone helps.

Try Precision Interface Electronics (PIE) they have audio interface modules for iPod, MP3 ect.. I have on on my 05 F250 to run my GPS/MP3 through the factory radio..
