Audio Issue
I had just installed my amp and speaker, everything was working great! Then I decided to add a remote wire toggle switch and was still working good. As I started to locate a spot for the switch and drill a hole in the plastic of the dash, I lost some power. I am not receiving 12 V anymore (only 3V) when the vehicle is on through the remote wire anymore!! What did I do?!?!?

Wiring on a 2015 Ford F150. I bought a plug and play harness with RCA connections and a remote wire. I tied into the remote wire and had it working just fine on day 1. Day 2 I decided to run a switch on the remote line. I did that and no problem, it switched it on and off like I anticipated. When I started to make the switch look good in the dash I drilled a hole next to the headlight switch. When I was grabbing the switch and making it fit into the nice location the switch didn't work anymore. I decided to check the voltage and it was only getting 3V. I decided then to check how many volts it was getting at the remote connection I made in the harness, 3V. I checked the remote wire before the harness in the original wire, still just 3V. I checked as far as I could reach into the dash, still just 3V. I'm at a loss.
I've attached an attempt of a diagram to show where I've tested.

On the remote wire, did you splice into the harness,, or is there a fuse tap being used?
If the harness was spliced, was it the radio harness were the adapter harness was used or somewhere else? What’s the wire color including the tracer color if any. Specifically, try and ID which harness run you tied into..
If you used a fuse tap, which fuse/number location was the connection made on?

The harness I purchased had a remote wire coming from the RCA connector they added. No fuse tap being used. I've identified the factory blue wire to be the "amplifier wire" that should run 12V when the vehicle is running. I have tested that wire before I even reach the harness and it is still only receiving 3V. The fuses I've checked in the fuse box are; 14 - Amplifier, 32 - Multi-function display. Global position system. Sync 1. Sync 2. Radio frequency receiver, 33 - Radio.
What specific level of audio are you equipped with? Touch, Sony, NAV, SYNC etc.
In a quick option level check, I didn’t see any factory blue wire for amp control. Blue yes,,,
If you can ohm test that blue wire on the new adapter pigtail assy, and check against the radio connector and/or harness connectors pin position (or an image of the connector faces that the blue wire tests out to) I’ll look up the circuit function..

Your right there is no accessory wire. I was under the impression that the harness split off the accessory wire, but I was wrong. I ended up running the accessory wire to the fuse box. Thanks for the responses and help!
