Default Sony sound system

Does anyone have ANY information on how to make the DVD player work while the vehicle is in motion? This is one of the dumbest things Ford could have done, its a "safety feature" gets old as an excuse....how about the people NOT driving and would like some in-route entertainment?
I have the microsoft sync, sony sound sytem with the touch screen.

Any help out there?

Usually there are two wires that need to be replaced. One is the acceleration detection wire that you will need to add a switch to and the second is grounding the wire it looks for - wen your car is in park.

I believe some aftermarket manufactures make modules that you just plug and play to fix this. But at the same time manufactures are getting smarter and using gps to disable the video.
