sound system

i have a 1998 ford explorer xlt and also in the not too distant future make a loud bangin system to put in there.the reason why im in this section is because i want to hear some ideas,as of right now i have two 15 inch audiobahns in a box(ran short of funds).anyway i would like to hear ideas from you guys.i look forward to hearing from you!

Put an amp to everything. Even small speakers. It brings out the best sound quality and makes a world of difference in any genre of music.

In addition, don't go cheap on wiring. Good, thick wires improve sound!

take a look at www.tcsounds.com Those speakers are very high quality, will get very loud and have much better sq than your audiobahns. What kind of amp you running?

i have a friend that has a ford explorer xlt with 4 12s and a autotek amp on it and is hitting close to a 150. they are regular 900 watt subs but his box has 4 4inch flared aero ports and the box is double layered im not for sure the amps power i think he said on a some meter it said 2400 watts. its at a low frequency too.
