Turn on bluetooth audio without voice command?

Turn on bluetooth audio without voice command?
I have a 2012 Edge with Sync. I use bluetooth audio from my iPhone almost all the time.
I was wondering if there was a way to turn on the bluetooth audio without having to use the voice command each time? Are the radio buttons re-programmable? (I refuse to pay for Sirius, so I'd love to re-program that button to turn on bluetooth audio instead).
TIA

Thanks for the reply Rick. I guess I didn't describe my issue well.
My system works as it's supposed to. I was asking if the buttons on the radio could be reprogrammed to perform other functions.
Here's my real problem with it. I listen to Bluetooth Audio (BA) exclusively. In my last vehicle, when I left the vehicle and came back to it, the radio would stay in BA mode until my bluetooth device (iPhone) was ready and attached and then the music I was listening to could resume playing. With my new Edge, when I'm listening to BA and turn the vehicle off, when I come back and start the vehicle again, it senses that there's no BA connection (the iPhone takes a little while to sync up) and switches to another audio source.
That's probably a "feature" of the Ford software, but it's very annoying. And since there is no button for BA on the Edge radio (MyFord Touch), I have to constantly say "Bluetooth Audio". It gets irritating after a while. If I'm listening to BA when I shut the car off, I want it to come back to BA when I turn the car back on. I don't think that's an unreasonable request.
I'm guessing that both of these things I want (resumption of BA audio and reprogrammable radio buttons) don't exist with this radio.
Thanks for trying to help!
