Aussie's with timing chain noise/Ford Explorer's

Keen to here from anyone in Australia who has had any timing chain problems particulary with the 97/98 Single overhead cam model Explorer's.

sorry to say this but when the chain goes the motor goes with it on the sohc motors very tuff & expensive to fix.
