Default 1964 Galaxie fastback or 1965 Ford Fairlane

Hi Everyone,

I'm new to the forum and I'm struggling over whether to purchase a 1964 ford galaxie 390/cruisomatic/power brakes/power steering car or a 1965 ford fairlane with a 390 mated to a 5 speed transmission. Both are running but the fairlane will require far less work. Both cars are running. Any suggestions you can add would be highly appreciated. This will be my first ford.

thank you.

Which appeals to you more? I have a 63 Fairlane and love the lines on it. I love galaxies as well. I guess it depends too on what you plan to do with either. Do some research on parts/cost, can't go wrong with either.
