Default 63 Fairlane More Paint Progress

I spent a good amount of time Fri-Sun about 24hrs total getting jams, under hood/trunk and inside doors done. Man, the prep time was a bear. Parts have been sitting around with old primer and dust. The light green is Agave green metallic singe stage. Coming out nice.

Looks nice. I agree the prep time can be a pain.

Thanks raski. For being my first paint job, it's turning out better than expected. Hopefully I'll be done with paint end of July.

The dark green is called fern green metallic Restoration Shop is the brand and sold by tcpglobal, maybe other too. Light green is called Agave Green Metallic sold by Eastwood. Both are single stage. I'm going to sand and polish the dark green for sure, I'll see how the Agave looks once I paint the outside of panels.

Botha are acrylic according to description. Fern is enamel and Agave is urethane. Both metallic both single stage. Single stage paint the clear is already mixed with the paint. You can sand and add more layers of clear if you'd like or sand and buff for more shine. I used epoxy primer on everything.
