Question 66 Fairlane Squire Brake Question

1966 Fairlane Squire Station Wagon - Rear Center Brake Hose (the flexible rubber hose that connects the one rigid steel brake line coming from the master cylinder to the 2 rigid steel brake lines which run across the rear axel) - In my search for a replacement hose, all of the different manufacturers who offer a rear center hose for a '66 Fairlane have notations listed with the product description, saying "except wagon" or "except station wagon" (these notes also say "except taxi" and/or "except police package") The illustration photos all show a hose that "looks" just like my old hose (example: Raybestos Part# BH36733), but there's apparently something different about the station wagon application. Since I'm only finding hoses by searching online (no one locally stocks a rear center hose of any kind for a '66 Fairlane or equivalent), I'm not able to go to a supplier with my hose and compare it side-by-side to a "non-station wagon" hose, to see if there actually is any detectable difference. Does anybody out there know for sure about this? It's starting to look like I may have to take my old hose to a hydraulics repair shop to have the actual rubber hose section replaced (re-using my old fittings) . . Please advise . . Thank you very much! . . P.S..... don't really need any "guesses" about what "might" be what's different about the station wagon application, as I already have a few guesses of my own. I'm looking for some who knows for sure about this to tell me. Thanks!!!

you can contact them for a single hose, but I'd replace all of them... if they are all old.. ten years or more...
